What do you think is the hardest competency to master when you want to become great at coaching? Is it active listening? Powerful Questioning? You might be in for a surprise. Based on all I have seen it is ‘Making Agreements’. What? If you are in disbelief, then this episode is for you 🙂

In this episode, we put our spotlight on a competency that many beginner coaches are very surprised by. Making good agreements is a surprisingly tough skill to learn and do well. It is also one of those things that differentiate a ‘normal’ conversation from a coaching conversation.

This episode is the first in a series that focuses on this special, hard skill. At this stage we will look at what we mean by ‘agreement’ in a coaching context, and what levels of agreement there are!

Fasten your seatbelts…you will be in for quite a skill ride over the next few episodes.

Enjoy!
