Shownotes

What is a SOFT skill? Something that’s optional? Something you stop when you have to prioritise?

Wrong. This is super outdated framing that prevents long-term growth.

Very likely, you made (or are making!) your first big career steps because of what you know. You are an SME (Subject Matter Expert) and you are great at GIVING ANSWERS.

When you become a LEADER, this has to shift. Otherwise, your impact will be short and negative.

Now, your success depends on HAVING GREAT QUESTIONS, to help OTHERS have great answers.

In this episode, I argue that coaching is not a SOFT skill, but one of the core FUNCTIONAL skills of a Leader that are crucial for them to get their job done.

It’s a super important message that I won’t get tired to spread. Enjoy the episode!
