‘Coaching is about asking good questions’ That’s a common thing that people say when they learn it. That’s like saying that driving is good foot pedal use.
‘Open Questions are good; Closed questions are bad’. That’s another common statement that on the surface sounds good, but has more depth to it.
If you know this podcast for a while, you will know that I feel that in terms of human nature, there is hardly ever black and white.
So like anywhere else, the truth is somewhere in between.
