Coaching becomes an effective tool when the coachee has a real, compelling reason to participate in the partnership. In this episode, we explore the importance of defining and clarifying a long-term vision and outcome of a coaching relationship.
It motivates and creates a ‘pull’ when the coachee (no matter whether this is a team member or otherwise client) knows what they do all this for and have a very clear vision. It also gives the coach a vital tool at hand, so they can ensure to keep sessions ‘on target’ to help the coachee realise their own business case.
Lastly, it serves as a useful ‘exit criteria’, i.e. when is this coaching ‘episode’ over.
Enjoy!
