Letting go to grow.
These are 4 powerful words.
For me, they encapsulate so well the mindset we show when we leade with a coaching mindset:
❌ We let go of the idea that we must jump in to advise and solve.
❌ We let go of the need to rescue people, because *we* need it.
❌ We let go of the idea that our idea works best for the other person.
And instead:
✅ We believe that the person in front of us is unique and resourceful.
✅ We believe that the person in front of us can perform and grow.
✅ We believe that the person in front of us will figure things out and develop self-motivation, if we just give them a chance.
“Leading starts by believing in your people”.
It’s that simple. I share in my courses that everything else flows from that belief. Professional-level coaching skills are then a great way to deliver this style with care and necessary directness.
